Due to recent changes in legislation (Regulation E), Bay Area Credit Union is required to have all members opt-in to receive/keep Courtesy Pay on their debit card and ATM transactions. If you do not contact us or return the CONSENT FORM, you will be unable to access Courtesy Pay through your debit card or an ATM.
This program benefits you by allowing us to cover your unexpected expenses, so that you are still able to pay for groceries, gasoline or a needed prescription. In addition it also saves you the embarassment of having your purchase declined. These examples, along with many others are reasons for utilizing this seafety net - and reasons it should remain available to you and your family.
You can opt-in to the Courtesy Pay program by:
1. Visiting Bay Area Credit Union
2. Calling 419-698-2962
3. Printing a CONSENT FORM (pdf) and bringing it in or mailing to:

If you do not contact Bay Area Credit Union or return the signed form, you will be unable to access Courtesy Pay through your debit card or ATM until you opt-in.
